Description
Generative AI has burst onto the scene with great fanfare, with new AI-based tools being introduced daily. Depending on your perspective, tools like Chat GPT are destined to enhance or diminish learning experiences. But how should senior postsecondary leaders, specifically those charged with innovation, plan and advocate for the use of AI in ways that customize experiences for our learners, create new efficiencies for our teams, and leverage the skills and expertise of faculty? How does a senior PCO leader cut through the hype and evaluate these new opportunities?
Join UPCEA’s Senior Fellow, Ray Schroeder, and UPCEA’s Sr. VP for Online and Strategic Initiatives, Julie Uranis, Ph.D. for a one-week learning experience designed for senior leaders. In this UPCEA short course, you’ll be exposed to new content and contexts for AI-based tools, engage with your peers asynchronously, and have the opportunity to attend a live Q & A session held on Wednesday, May 31st. During that session you will have the opportunity to get your questions answered in a judgment free-zone. This short course is designed to give senior leaders a solid foundation in AI-based tools as well as some perspective on how their implementation can benefit an institution.
Who Should Take this Course?
This course is designed for UPCEA Institutional Representatives, Chief Online Learning Officers, and Council for Credential Innovation representatives, or those focused on the strategy and advocacy of new technologies rather than their deployment and application in postsecondary environments.

This is a one-week course that will consist of asynchronous activities and one-hour live Q&A session. The course materials will open for access on Monday May 29th. The lives Q&A session will be hosted via Zoom on Wednesday May 31st at 3:00
